The Department of Architecture and Planning at NED University is well initiated in various domains of applied urban research and studies into various dimensions of built environment. It has reasonable outreach and links with experts and professionals from related disciplines of sociology, social work, applied economics, political economy, governance and anthropology. It possesses the capacity to initiate an undergraduate programme in development studies.
